After 23 editions in Crans-Montana, the Switzerland’s iconic winter electronic music festival has confirmed that its flagship winter edition will move to Eggli, Gstaad from 2026 — unveiling a new permanent alpine home, purpose-built stages, and a stacked Phase 1 lineup in the process.
Set across two weekends, March 13–15 and March 20–22, 2026, the move marks an evolution rather than a reinvention. Long recognised as one of the original blueprints for mountain festivals worldwide, Caprices now expands its vision with deeper integration into the landscape, improved protection from the elements, and new creative possibilities for staging and production.
Perched above the slopes, the new location Eggli offers a 360° panoramic view of the Swiss Alps, pairing dramatic high-altitude scenery with forward-thinking electronic music. The wider Gstaad region adds to the appeal, with 201km of ski slopes and a full spectrum of winter activities, from husky sledding to alpine hiking — positioning Caprices as both a cultural and lifestyle destination. Once at the top, the site introduces three new glasshouse stages, each designed with a distinct musical focus.
The Peak Stage hosts large-scale shows framed by sweeping alpine views, the CNTRL Stage is an intimate space built for extended sets and deep back-to-backs, while the Ridge Stage explores experimental sounds and immersive concepts. Across all stages, Caprices continues its reputation for high-end sound systems, detailed scenography, and ambitious lighting and mapping.

The 2026 edition brings together long-standing Caprices favourites and a new wave of international talent. Returning artists include Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano (in a special b2b with Dennis Cruz), Sonja Moonear, Sven Väth, DJ Tennis, Jamie Jones, Bedouin, Dan Ghenacia, and Raresh as part of RPR Soundsystem — artists who have helped shape the festival’s identity over the past two decades.
Alongside them is a new generation making their Caprices debut, including Vintage Culture, Mau P, Adam Ten, Josh Baker, Mita Gami, Alisha, Cincity, Sally C, and Stoffela, reflecting the festival’s ongoing commitment to staying ahead of the curve.
