Amnesia Brings Its 50 Years World Tour to Zamna Tulum for Major Anniversary Celebration

Two destinations that have helped make electronic music a reason to travel are coming together in the Mexican Caribbean.

Amnesia Ibiza will bring its 50 Years World Tour to Zamna Tulum on January 2, 2027, joining Zamna’s tenth anniversary season for a celebration connecting five decades of Ibiza club culture with a decade of immersive electronic music experiences in the Tulum jungle.

The collaboration arrives during an important moment for both brands. Amnesia is celebrating 50 years since its story began in Ibiza, while Zamna is marking ten years since emerging from Tulum and developing into an international electronic music platform.

Together, the anniversaries represent six decades of combined history, although their stories began in very different environments.

One was shaped by the evolution of Ibiza into a global centre of club culture. The other emerged from the Mexican jungle during a new era in which electronic music, travel, destination events and ambitious audiovisual production became increasingly interconnected.

On January 2, those two worlds will share the same dancefloor.

From Ibiza to the Tulum Jungle

Amnesia’s 50 Years World Tour was created to take the club’s anniversary beyond Ibiza, bringing elements of its history and dancefloor culture to audiences internationally.

For five decades, Amnesia has provided a meeting point for generations of DJs, dancers and electronic music communities arriving on the island from around the world.

The club’s identity has evolved alongside Ibiza itself, while maintaining a focus on the collective experience inside the room.

The anniversary tour extends that philosophy beyond the island.

Its arrival at Zamna is particularly fitting because Tulum has developed its own relationship between electronic music and international travel.

Rather than attempting to reproduce Ibiza in Mexico, the January event will place Amnesia’s history inside Zamna’s distinctive jungle environment, creating a meeting between two different approaches to destination club culture.

Zamna Celebrates Ten Years

For Zamna, the collaboration forms part of a major anniversary season running from December 31, 2026, through January 10, 2027.

Founded in the jungles of Tulum in 2017, Zamna has expanded considerably during its first decade.

Its events combine electronic music with large scale audiovisual production and natural surroundings, turning the environment itself into part of the experience.

From its origins in Mexico, Zamna has expanded internationally with editions in cities and destinations including Barcelona, Madrid, Ibiza, Miami, New York, Sรฃo Paulo, Dubai and Malta.

Its Zamna on the Beach series has extended that footprint further through destinations including ร‡eลŸme, Mykonos, Porto Cervo, the French Riviera, Puglia, Albania and Montenegro.

Despite that international expansion, Tulum remains central to the identity of the project.

The tenth anniversary season therefore brings Zamna’s global community back to the location where the concept first developed.

Six Decades of Electronic Music Culture Meet

The January 2 event creates an interesting intersection between different generations of electronic music.

Amnesia’s story stretches back to 1976, decades before electronic music became the international festival and tourism economy it is today.

Across its history, the Ibiza institution witnessed changing musical movements, technologies and generations while remaining closely connected with the island’s nightlife identity.

Zamna belongs to a different chapter.

Its rise reflects the contemporary appetite for destination experiences where music exists alongside travel, architecture, nature and visual production.

Bringing the two together therefore connects more than two event brands. It places different eras of electronic music culture within the same environment.

Longtime club audiences who associate Amnesia with Ibiza will meet a generation for whom Tulum has become an important destination on the international electronic music calendar.

The Lineup Is Still to Come

The artists performing at the Amnesia 50 Years World Tour event at Zamna Tulum have not yet been announced.

The official lineup will be unveiled on Thursday, November 12, 2026, adding another chapter to the buildup surrounding the collaboration.

Presale tickets will become available on Monday, November 9, at 12:00 PM Mexico City time.

Only 500 presale tickets will be offered at $90 USD each, with access reserved for registered fans.

General ticket sales will then begin on Tuesday, November 10, at 12:00 PM Mexico City time.

Tickets and further information about the event are available through ZamnaFestival.com.

Amnesia’s Anniversary Moves Beyond Ibiza

The Tulum event also demonstrates how Amnesia is using its 50th anniversary to look beyond conventional nostalgia.

Throughout 2026, the club has marked five decades through anniversary events, special lineups and cultural collaborations connected with its history.

The world tour expands that celebration geographically.

Instead of limiting the anniversary to the place where the story began, Amnesia is taking its identity into different electronic music communities and environments.

Tulum represents a particularly symbolic destination for that journey.

Ibiza and Tulum belong to different periods and cultural contexts, but both have become international destinations where electronic music extends beyond the event itself. Travel, community and location are fundamental parts of the experience.

On January 2, 2027, those histories will temporarily converge.

For Amnesia, it will be another international chapter in a story that began 50 years ago in Ibiza.

For Zamna, it will arrive at the heart of a tenth anniversary season celebrating how an event born in the Mexican jungle developed into a global platform.

And for the audience, the collaboration will bring five decades of Ibiza history into one of contemporary electronic music’s most distinctive destination settings, connecting generations through the element both institutions ultimately depend upon: the dancefloor.
