Amsterdam is already vibrating: that annual shift where the city becomes a living instrument. From sacred reverb to sunrise caffeine and warehouse sweat, ADE is the one week where contrasts rule. This year, I’m attracting resonance across five spaces that capture what this festival does best: blending sound, architecture, and emotion.
1. Honey Dijon × ZO! Gospel Choir — De Nieuwe Kerk

Six centuries after its consecration, De Nieuwe Kerk will open its doors not for prayer, but for basslines. Honey Dijon brings her Chicago-born house spirit into collaboration with the ZO! Gospel Choir: a fusion of faith, rhythm, and queer brilliance. The event, titled Praise, reimagines the church as a temple for modern spirituality, where gospel harmonies and deep house coexist in perfect symmetry.
Honey’s presence in this space feels almost inevitable: few artists command both reverence and release like she does. As the light filters through stained glass, every drop will feel like revelation.
2. Skepta — The Loft, A’DAM Tower

High above the IJ River, the city spreads out in miniature. Up here, in The Loft’s glass-walled sanctum, Skepta is stepping behind the decks — not as MC, but as DJ. His ADE appearance promises an all-night session where grime, UK bass, and club-focused house meet in elevated form at Mas Tiempo.
3. Romée Avril Invites: Morning Rave — Good News Coffee

My personal invitation to you to start ADE with intention together at my morning rave turning club energy into a mindful, sober celebration of rhythm and connection. Building into a high-energy set, I’ll be behind the decks, joined by a few friends and surprise guests who share a same vision for presence and play. For me, music is a a way to return to our default mode in a world that moves beyond our speed.

4. ZeeZout ADE Special — Het Concertgebouw

When underground promoters ZeeZout step into the most prestigious concert hall in the Netherlands, the result is pure alchemy. The ZeeZout ADE Special at Het Concertgebouw merges centuries of acoustic mastery with the forward thrust of club culture.
This year’s edition features a carefully curated lineup of boundary-pushing selectors — bridging the elegance of classical architecture with the communal pulse of house and techno. The hall’s acoustics promise to turn every kick drum into something symphonic.
5. KETTAMA — Paradiso

Once a church, now the beating heart of Amsterdam’s club scene, Paradiso is the ideal stage for KETTAMA’s brand of unfiltered energy. The Irish DJ’s “sledgehammer house” sound — hard-driving drums, raw basslines, ecstatic tempo — thrives in this high-arched, history-soaked venue.
