With the 6th Tomorrowland Winter set to unfold from March 21–28, 2026, aspiring DJs have a chance to take the stage at the legendary festival by enrolling in the Online Tomorrowland DJ & Producing Academy and submitting their mixtape by February 20, 2026.
Tomorrowland Winter takes place in the breathtaking alpine resort of Alpe d’Huez in France, transforming the snow-covered mountains into a magical festival setting unlike any other. First launched in 2019, the event quickly established itself as a unique winter edition of Tomorrowland, blending world-class electronic music with skiing, snowboarding, and immersive stage design set at high altitude. Over the years, Tomorrowland Winter has welcomed thousands of visitors from around the world, offering performances across mountaintop stages and indoor venues, and creating a one-of-a-kind experience where music, nature, and storytelling come together in the heart of the French Alps.
Thanks to the Tomorrowland Academy, a new global opportunity is opening up for emerging DJs aiming to perform at Tomorrowland Winter 2026. The Tomorrowland Academy DJ Competition invites talents from around the world to share their mixtape via academy.tomorrowland.com, offering a rare chance to showcase their skills and join an international lineup of world-class artists on one of electronic music’s most celebrated stages.
The story of Ayden Loyde (the winner of the Tomorrowland Winter 2025 DJ Competition) is a powerful example of how the Tomorrowland Academy helps transform ambition into reality. In 2025, the Swedish DJ earned the honor of opening the Reflection of Love stage at Tomorrowland Winter, where he captivated the crowd with an inspired blend of melodic techno and indie dance.
