Set high above the island with panoramic views over Ibiza’s old town and the Mediterranean, IMS Dalt Vila is officially back. Presented by AlphaTheta in association with Appetite, the 2026 edition will take place on Friday, 24 April 2026, once again serving as the grand closing event of International Music Summit Ibiza.
Hosted inside the ancient walls of Dalt Vila, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the event has become one of the most visually iconic gatherings in global electronic music — where sunset transitions into night with the island’s skyline as a backdrop and the bass rolling across centuries-old stone.
A calendar date that always sells out
IMS Dalt Vila isn’t just another open-air party. It has evolved into a ritual that closes IMS Ibiza each year — a symbolic bridge between industry dialogue and pure dancefloor expression. The event consistently sells out in advance, and the 2026 presale reportedly moved in under two hours, reinforcing its status as one of the island’s most in-demand tickets before the summer season even begins.
The lineup traditionally blends rising talent with globally established DJs, reflecting IMS’s wider ethos of spotlighting both future voices and current leaders within electronic culture. While the full roster has yet to be revealed, organizers have already hinted that unexpected back-to-back pairings are on the way — the kind of collaborations rarely repeated elsewhere.

International Music Summit Ibiza
International Music Summit Ibiza — commonly known as IMS Ibiza — was founded in 2007 by industry figures including Pete Tong, Ben Turner and Danny Whittle as a platform to bring the business and culture of electronic music into one shared space. Conceived as a hybrid between conference, think-tank and festival, IMS quickly became the annual meeting point where artists, labels, promoters, tech companies and media converge to discuss trends, innovation, mental health, sustainability and the future of club culture. Held each April in Ibiza just before the summer season begins, the summit grew from intimate industry panels into a globally recognised institution that not only forecasts the direction of electronic music but also celebrates it — culminating each year with the open-air IMS Dalt Vila event overlooking the island’s historical old town.
Dalt Vila, UNESCO World Heritage Site
Dalt Vila — meaning “Upper Town” in Catalan — is the fortified historic heart of Ibiza, a walled citadel whose origins trace back more than 2,500 years to Phoenician settlements before being successively shaped by Roman, Moorish and Renaissance Spanish rule. Its massive stone ramparts and bastions, largely rebuilt in the 16th century to defend the island from Ottoman and pirate attacks, remain among the best-preserved coastal fortifications in the Mediterranean.
In 1999, Dalt Vila was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its architectural integrity and layered cultural history. Today its cobbled streets, cathedral, and panoramic viewpoints overlook Ibiza Town and the sea — transforming the ancient military stronghold into one of the island’s most iconic cultural and scenic landmarks.
More than a party — a statement
Part of what makes IMS Dalt Vila resonate is its timing. As the final moment of International Music Summit week, it kicks off the opening of the Ibiza season after a week panels, networking, and industry conversations. The setting transforms that professional energy into a shared cultural experience under open skies, blending business, art, and community into a single night.
IMS Dalt Vila 2026 is once again shaping up to be one of Ibiza’s earliest and most defining electronic music moments of the season.
Tickets are available on the official IMS website.
