Michael Bibi has returned with a new single, “Mobile Groove,” out now via ELOVATE.
Released on July 10, the track transforms one of the most recognisable sounds of early-2000s mobile culture into a club-ready weapon, building its groove around a nostalgic sample inspired by the iconic Nokia 3310 ringtone.

The idea behind “Mobile Groove” came from a personal moment.
This track came about after my brother sent me a video of his with the iconic sounds from the old 2000s Nokia phones, It got stuck in my head for days, so I threw it into a track just for fun and sent it back to him.

That spontaneity is part of the track’s charm. Rather than overthinking the concept, Michael Bibi leans into its simplicity, taking a sound that lives in collective memory and reshaping it into a rhythmic club tool.

Michael Bibi’s recent story has also carried a deeper emotional weight.
Following his own battle with cancer in 2023, Michael Bibi has used his platform to support cancer-related causes through his One Life brand, which launched with a world tour in 2024.
In 2025, Michael Bibi played a surprise set at Beachouse Ibiza, raising €56,021 for a local cancer charity. He has also continued hosting fundraising events under the One Life banner and donated almost £114,000 to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, supporting the hospital that cared for him during treatment.
That context gives Michael Bibi’s current momentum a different kind of meaning. His return is not only about releases, rankings or festival stages. It is also about resilience, community and using visibility to create impact beyond the booth.
