Sound Waves winter edition returns to Lisbon on 14 February 2026, once again establishing itself as one of Europe’s strongest early-year events for hard techno. After previous explosive editions at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion, which hosted names like Oguz, 999999999 and Bad Boombox, the festival is gearing up for one of its most powerful line-ups to date.
The Carlos Lopes Pavilion is one of Lisbon’s most iconic cultural and event venues, located at the heart of Parque Eduardo VII, one of the city’s largest and most central urban parks. Originally built in 1922 for the Portuguese Industrial Exhibition, the pavilion later gained international attention during the 1924 Paris International Exhibition, where it represented Portugal. Its combination of historical architecture, modern infrastructure, and strategic location makes it a standout setting for festivals and an outstanding surrounding for clubbers to enjoy this winter edition of Sound Waves.

Headlining this winter edition is Kobosil, the German powerhouse whose blend of old-school industrial textures, modern groove, and relentless schranz energy has earned him worldwide acclaim. This year, he brings several leading figures from his label, reinforcing Sound Waves’ reputation for hosting some of the genre’s most influential acts.
Joining him is Shlømo, a pioneering force in the new era of hard techno, returning to Sound Waves after his triumphant appearance at the 2024 summer edition in Esmoriz. The line-up also highlights rising stars blk. and Klofama, whose raw, industrial sound promises to shake the very foundations of the venue.
With a world-class roster, an iconic location, and the high-voltage atmosphere that has become synonymous with Sound Waves, the Winter Edition is shaping up to be one of winter 2026’s unmissable events. And for those who want even more, the festival returns for its summer edition on 11 July in Esmoriz, promising another standout line-up.
