The Belgian techno icon has announced a Deluxe Edition of her self-titled debut LP, arriving via her KNTXT imprint, alongside a brand-new single titled “A Prayer for the Dancefloor”, out February 5. The Deluxe Vinyl Edition follows on April 3, turning the album into a complete, carefully curated statement rather than a simple reissue.
This isn’t about bonus tracks for the sake of it. It’s about finishing the sentence.
A prayer written for the club
At the heart of the release is “A Prayer for the Dancefloor”, a track that feels less like a single and more like a manifesto. Built on a driving, uncompromising techno framework, the track features spoken-word vocals by Conduit, whose calm yet authoritative delivery reframes the club as something sacred.
Lines like “the space you hold is sacred” aren’t slogans — they’re philosophy. The track slowly escalates through acid lines, hoover textures, and tension-heavy builds, landing somewhere between ritual and release. According to de Witte, the track captures the entire philosophy of the album in one piece, born from a chance encounter with Conduit on New York’s Williamsburg Bridge in 2024 — a meeting that later came full circle with her performing on that very bridge in 2025. Conduit describes the collaboration as “hopefulness in action,” rooted in a shared love for the sweating heart of the dancefloor. And you can hear that intent in every bar.
New music, new layers, same intensity
Alongside the lead single, the Deluxe Edition introduces “Malina”, a previously unreleased track built around Bulgarian vocals, blending acid pressure with a rare emotional softness. It’s a cut de Witte has already been testing in her sets — and one that fans have been waiting to identify. The Deluxe Vinyl also includes two exclusive reinterpretations from the original album:
- “The Heads That Know (They Know Acid)”
- “No Division (Instrumental Mix)”
Together, they reinforce the album’s core identity: stripped-back, physical, and deeply focused on the dancefloor as a shared space. The physical release goes further than most. The boxed vinyl includes:
- an extra 4-track disc
- a branded SD card with all tracks
- an exclusive continuous album mix curated by de Witte herself
- a high-quality photo booklet featuring official cover imagery
It’s an object made for people who still believe albums matter.
Digitally, the release adds another dimension with an Avalon & GMS remix of “A Prayer for the Dancefloor,” pushing the track into psytrance territory — a crossover de Witte openly celebrates as another sign of worlds colliding.

A milestone moment, still in motion
The timing couldn’t be more symbolic. The Deluxe Edition arrives as Charlotte de Witte celebrates 15 years as an artist, alongside massive upcoming shows — including her 23,000-capacity Flanders Expo dates on February 6 and 7, and a global tour stretching into 2026 with appearances at Pitch Melbourne, Tomorrowland Winter, Kappa Futur, and Awakenings.
Her debut album already earned recognition across the cultural spectrum but this Deluxe Edition feels less like a victory lap and more like a reaffirmation.
The dancefloor is still calling. And Charlotte de Witte is answering.
