Oh yes, Oh yes! Carl Cox is heading back to Ibiza in 2026 for a second season of Sunday nights at [UNVRS].
The announcement lands with the kind of weight that only a handful of dance music names can still generate. Cox isn’t just a superstar DJ with decades of credibility, he’s part of Ibiza’s past and present, of the old and the modern ibiza time.
After a successfull 2025 return to the island, the venue has announced that it will host Carl Cox again, taking over Sunday nights across summer 2026, running from 21 June through 4 October. In Ibiza terms, that’s a serious statement: not a cameo, not a short run, but a full-season appointment that plants a flag firmly in the weekly rhythm of the island.
According to [UNVRS], the season will be “bookended” with two special “all night long” sets. It’s a small line in the announcement, but it signals a lot about intent. This isn’t just about turning up, delivering peak-time pressure, and moving on. Plenty of DJs can deliver peak-time impact. Cox is built for momentum — for the slow climb, the deep stretch, the moment where a room stops feeling like a crowd and starts acting like a single moving body. The “all night long” setup hints at a residency that isn’t just engineered for highlights, but for the kind of full-spectrum experience the king does.

The residency is expected to span 16 dates, carrying Cox through the core of summer and into early October. The supporting lineups haven’t been fully detailed yet, and those reveals will shape how these Sundays feel week to week. But the message is already clear: UNVRS is keeping one of its biggest anchors in place, and Cox is continuing to treat Ibiza as home.
