Amnesia Ibiza Reveals 20 Hour Closing Party for Its Historic 50th Anniversary Season

Amnesia Ibiza is preparing to bring one of the most significant seasons in its history to a close with a 20 hour celebration on Saturday, October 10, marking the finale of the club’s 50th anniversary year.

The closing festival will expand across the Amnesia grounds with an outdoor programme and three indoor spaces, introducing formats never previously used for the club’s traditional season finale. Joseph Capriati, Groove Armada, Deborah De Luca, Nina Kraviz, Klangkuenstler, Traumer, Max Dean, Enzo Siragusa and Saoirse are among the artists confirmed for a marathon journey from daylight into the following morning.

For a venue that has spent half a century shaping Ibiza nightlife, the 2026 closing is being treated as more than the final party of summer. It is designed as a culmination of 50 years on the dancefloor.

Amnesia Moves Outdoors

For the first time, Amnesia will extend its closing celebration into the club’s outdoor grounds.

The open air programme begins at 5 PM, adding an entirely new opening chapter before the action moves deeper into the night.

Luca Donzelli will perform alongside Alisha b2b Julian Fijma, Groove Armada, Max Dean, and Kolter b2b Traumer, bringing together house, minimal and groove driven sounds while Ibiza moves through the final hours of daylight.

One of the defining moments is expected to come from Joseph Capriati, who will take control for a sunset set.

Sunset occupies an almost ceremonial place in Ibiza culture, and placing Joseph Capriati at that transition gives the closing party a natural bridge between the outdoor celebration and the nocturnal intensity that follows.

For Amnesia, a club historically defined by what happens inside its walls, opening the grounds creates a different relationship with the venue itself. The anniversary finale begins beneath the Ibiza sky before returning to the rooms that have shaped its identity for decades.

The Main Room Turns Up the Pressure

Once the celebration moves indoors, the Main Room will take the night toward heavier territory.

Deborah De Luca, Estella Boersma, Future666, Katnada, Klangkuenstler and Nina Kraviz are all scheduled to perform, alongside a back to back set from Yanamaste and Serafina.

The programming places contemporary techno at the centre of the room, moving through different interpretations of intensity rather than relying on a single stylistic direction.

Klangkuenstler brings the uncompromising energy associated with the modern resurgence of harder techno, while Nina Kraviz has spent years moving unpredictably between techno, acid and more experimental selections. Deborah De Luca adds another distinct approach, built through years of international touring and a direct relationship with large dancefloors.

For the final night of a 50th anniversary season, subtlety was never going to be the only option.

The Terrace Goes Back to Back

The Terrace will follow a different path, leaning into house, minimal and rolling club music through a programme dominated by collaborative sets.

Long standing Amnesia residents Caal and Mar-T will appear alongside Enzo Siragusa b2b Saoirse, Luke Dean b2b Locky, Marco Faraone b2b Obskür, and Max Dean b2b Sidney Charles.

The format feels particularly appropriate for the Terrace.

For decades, the room has been defined by extended sessions, unexpected combinations and mornings when the distinction between night and day gradually disappears through the windows. Back to back performances preserve that unpredictability, allowing two selectors to respond to one another rather than following a completely predetermined route.

The combination of established Amnesia residents and a younger generation of international artists also mirrors the wider anniversary season, connecting the club’s history with the people currently shaping its dancefloor.

A New Room Opens for the Finale

The 2026 closing will also introduce El Taller, a previously unused third indoor space at Amnesia.

Rather than filling the room with another international headline lineup, Amnesia is placing three of its own residents at the centre.

Jason Bye, Les Schmitz and Franco Moiraghi will host the new space.

It is a meaningful choice during an anniversary built around the club’s history. Ibiza’s identity has never been created by headline artists alone. Resident DJs have traditionally provided continuity between seasons, generations and changing musical movements.

Giving them control of a completely new room during the 50th anniversary closing places that culture firmly inside the celebration.

Fifty Years on the Dancefloor

Amnesia’s story stretches back to 1976, when the location began its transformation from an Ibizan finca into one of the island’s most influential nightlife institutions.

Across the decades, the club became inseparable from Ibiza’s evolution as a global destination for electronic music. Its rooms have moved through eras of Balearic freedom, acid house, trance, house, techno, minimal and countless mutations between them.

The venue itself became part of the mythology.

The Terrace developed a reputation for sessions continuing into daylight, while the Main Room became synonymous with scale, darkness and the famous ice cannons erupting above the crowd.

Artists, promoters and generations of dancers changed. The ritual of returning to Amnesia survived.

That longevity makes the 50th anniversary particularly significant in a culture where venues can disappear almost overnight.

A Season Built Around the Anniversary

Amnesia has spent 2026 looking both backward and forward.

The club marked its birthday with “50 Years Dancing,” a 50 track compilation built around records connected to Ibiza’s dancefloor history.

Its summer programme also welcomed a series of residencies and special events, including a takeover from FAC51 The Haçienda, creating a symbolic connection between two institutions that played major roles in the development of European club culture.

The anniversary even moved beyond the booth through a collaboration with Loop Earplugs, producing a limited edition design in Amnesia’s unmistakable yellow.

Each project approached the birthday from a different angle, but the closing party is where those celebrations finally return to their natural environment.

The club itself.

One Final Dance for the 50th

Closing parties have always occupied a special place in Ibiza.

They represent the point where months of residencies, debuts, sunrise sessions and packed dancefloors collapse into one final gathering. The atmosphere is different because everyone inside understands that the season is running out of hours.

For Amnesia in 2026, that feeling carries additional weight.

This is not simply another October closing. It is the final party of the club’s first half century.

Twenty hours, an outdoor opening, three indoor rooms, a new space and generations of artists will bring that anniversary to its conclusion.

At some point after sunset becomes sunrise and the final record eventually disappears into the room, Amnesia’s 50th summer will become part of the same history it spent the year celebrating.
