Riverside 2022 Glasgow

Riverside Festival prepares to take Glasgow by storm in June 2022 with the second wave of artist announcements certifying the 3-day event as a staple in any raver’s calendar.

Charlotte De Witte, Carl Cox and Róisín Murphy were confirmed to headline the event in the first line-up drop.

Now it has been announced that Robert Hood, Helena Hauff, Joseph Capriati, Big Freedia, HAAi, ANNA, Derrick Carter, Chippy Nonstop, Bambounou, Joy Orbison, KiNK and Optimo and many other world-class DJs will be joining Riverside Festival 2022.

Hand-picked by SLAM, Thursday’s line-up is set to be a techno-fuelled frenzy. Whilst German DJ/producer Helena Hauff brings her raw, stripped-back beats, and a FJAAK prepare to stun with a rare live set. Bonzai Bonner enlists hip-hop royalty with Big Freedia, hailed as the ‘Queen of Bounce Music.’ Optimo, the duo behind one of Sub Club’s infamous nights ‘Optimo Espacio,’ prepare to rile up theSaturday crowd. Along with House legend Derrick Carter, BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix of the Year 2018 winner, HAAi. Glasgow’s very own Junglehussi, DJ/rapper Chippy Nonstop, and rising star India Jordan

Located on the banks of the Glasgow’s River Clyde by the Riverside Museum, the festival prides itself on curating a line-up that not only brings global names to the stage, but also showcases homegrown talent. You can catch some of the finest up and coming Scottish DJs and artists taking over The Satellite stage including Jay Celino, KAVARI(live), Bemz (live), Rare (Kooshty B2B Macka), Edinburgh Disco Lovers and many more.

Dave Clarke, Co-Festival Director, commented on the June weekender: “We were lucky to be one of the first festivals back after lockdown last year and the atmosphere was the best ever. And the anticipation for this summer’s 3 day Jubilee party is off the scale. Since our massive headliners were announced, everyone has been itching to hear who is joining us and the lineup only adds to that tangible excitement. Our team and collaborators are bringing

together the most diverse lineup yet with a blend of big names and underground cutting edge talents including as much homegrown talent as we could squeeze in.”

Tickets are available now for Riverside Festival’s Jubilee Bank Holiday weekender from 2nd – 4th June.
